THINGS TO KNOW
Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes. We want to ensure that you have a completely private and relaxed experience searching for your perfect gown. As the only bride in the store, you will receive undivided attention as we take the time to get to know you and your bridal vision.

How do I make an appointment?
Please contact us at hello@yvesjoliebridal.com or (484) 639-3774 and let us know when you would like to come in. We are extremely flexible and available outside of normal business hours. In other words, we'll make it work!
How long is my appointment?
A minimum of 90 minutes is dedicated to each bride. However, if we need to take a bit longer to find the perfect dress, we’ll do just that.
How many guests can I bring with me to my appointment?
We suggest bringing those individuals who are most important to you and would only help in your decision-making process. For a more stress-free decision-making process, we find that three or four trusted friends or family members is ideal!

What should I bring to my appointment?
If you’d like to bring nude undergarments, a strapless or stick on bra, great. Otherwise, it is unnecessary to bring anything beyond your lovely self. A bridal consultant will be assisting you in and out of each bridal dress during try-on.
When should I begin shopping for my dress?
We recommend starting your dress shopping at least 12 months before your wedding date. While every designer is different, the average production and shipping time for a gown is between six to eight months. This will allow you approximately 8-12 weeks for any necessary alterations before your special day. Of course, if you are in a pinch, rush orders can usually be placed on most gowns with additional fees.
What is your price range for gowns?
Our dresses range between approximately $2,000-$10,000, with the bulk of our gowns ranging between $3,000-$5,000. Rest assured that we will be mindful of the budget you provide when we schedule your appointment.

Do you offer alterations?

While even special-order custom-made gowns may require adjustments, we do not offer in-house alterations services; and our dresses are priced without alterations fees. While you may have your own favorite seamstress of choice, we can also provide you with a list of potential seamstresses in the area. If you live far away, we will certainly do our best to find options for you that are closer to home.
What if I place my order but change my mind?!
Since every gown is custom made by a designer, once an order is placed, we will be unable to stop production or issue a refund, credit, or exchange for your gown. We can certainly provide recommendations for various websites and consignment shops that might help you relinquish your chosen gown.
What exactly is a trunk show?

A trunk show is an opportunity for us to host additional gowns or accessories from a designer’s collection for one or two weekends. It is a terrific opportunity for a bride to try on gowns that we normally do not have in the store. Please check our Events page for scheduled trunk show dates and be sure to reach out to us quickly if you are interested in attending. Discounts and promotions may be offered by the designer and can usually be applied only during trunk show dates.
Where are you located?
We are right in the heart of the Brandywine Valley, an easy driving distance from Wilmington and Philadelphia. You can certainly make a day of it with loved ones when you visit Yves Jolie, as there are a slew of museums and parks to enjoy near our quaint little Village of Centreville. We are located in The Shops at Centreville Barns, a small collection of stores with a variety of interesting wares, whether they be home décor, athleisurewear, antiques, vintage jewelry and vinyl, plants and flowers, wine and spirits, or services that include skincare, hair styling, photography, and even financial planning. Aside from checking out these other wonderful businesses, Winterthur Museum, the Delaware Museum of Natural History, Burrows Run Preserve, Flint Woods, Coverdale Farm, Brandywine Creek State Park, Longwood Gardens, Hagley Museum, the Delaware Museum of Art, the Brandywine Battlefield, and Brandywine River Museum are all—believe it or not—within a five-mile radius of us. And for yummy food and drink, there is Adorn Goods’ Circe, an upscale farm fresh mobile kitchen; Centreville Place; and of course, the infamous Buckley’s Tavern, which dates back to 1817, right around the corner, for continued celebratory food and libations.
